Gamestopping bug

So I have played through this game, very similar to Hobbits Lost Kingdom, for about three days, following the recommended quests. I joined a faction and had the typical 72 hour noob-protection. One of the quests was to research Magic Array, which required a level 2 Magic Stone. Except that when I tried to upgrade the Magic Stone, the game (data is stored on the server, so shutting down and restarting the iPad has no effect) essentially froze the research, so now I am unable to build or research ANYthing. Not too big a deal except the game is pay-for-convenience, and had I purchased any in-game mithril, the money would have been wasted because of a bug on their end. I dont relish the thought of repeating my porgress with a new city and starting from scratch, so I think I will just delete it.
2/10 -- would not recommend
